Hey, everyone; hope you’re all well! So this past weekend I finally got a Saturday off from work and I made sure it didn’t go to waste. If you’re from the FTL/Miami area and have an Instagram, you’ve probably heard of a place called The Salty Donut. For some reason, a wave of specialty donut shops has become pretty popular lately and this one has made it to the top of the list.
Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great holiday weekend! I’m sure you noticed that I didn’t post last week, but that’s because I wanted to combine weeks 4 and 5 into one post. The internship is going great, but there are less meetings and classes more time spent on the floor selling, so there isn’t as much to write about. However, these last two weeks were pretty exciting, so I’ll be recapping the highlights from each week.
Hey everyone, hope you’re all well! A lot has been going on lately as I’m sure you can tell from my internship recaps (check them out: wk1, wk2, wk3!) but I’m pretty proud of myself for staying consistent with the schedule I promised. I’ve been really busy working 40+ hours a week, which I’ve actually never done. I’m definitely feeling more like an adult now (lol) but so far it’s not too bad and I’m really liking the payoff.
Monday morning was time for another manager’s meeting where more anniversary prep was covered. The store manager went in depth, providing everyone with binders filled with pages of important dates and general things to remember. Time is already flying by and before I know it we’ll all be working hard before and after hours to make sure everything is in place.
Hola, I’m back again with another outfit post! I’m sure you’ve all noticed that fashion goes through cycles because what was in years ago is now back in style. A perfect example is overalls. I remember being a kid and wearing these all the time, and then there was point in my life where I grew up and thought I’d never wear them again ew. Eventually I realized that I actually really like them and my mom probably wasn’t the only reason I was in them as a child.
Hey, everyone! I’m back again for another recap of the week but unfortunately, there aren’t any outfits this time. With these recaps, I really want the focus to be on my experience each day, so I’ll only be doing outfits every so often.
Week 2 was yet another one filled with a ton of information, but also a lot of experience in terms of selling on my own. Here’s the breakdown…
We all have those days when we don’t feel like getting ready but know we can’t just walk out in public indecent. T-shirt dresses have become a closet staple of mine and they’re the easiest outfits in my closet. During the spring and summertime, these are perfect because they’re loose and keep you cool.
