I think one of the hardest looks to pull off is denim on denim. However, I tried it out and here’s my take on this recurring trend. There are many different ways that this can be worn. Some prefer to match washes in the top and bottom while I prefer to have them opposite, as you can see.
When putting together this outfit, I paid close attention to small details. For example, something as minuscule as the color of the threading in the top matching the color of my jeans was an important factor that I took into account. This could just be the OCD in me, but hey, it worked. Also, to break up the head to toe denim look, I added a faux fur vest. Since it is black, it changes up the look a bit and makes it more wearable. What better way to add a pop of color than with a bright red bag?! It completed my look, and the gold hardware matched perfectly with my jewelry and pointed flats.
