    Do You Know What’s In Your Personal Care Products? | My Favorite Non-Toxic Alternatives

    Did you know that our skin absorbs almost anything we put on it? “26 seconds is all it takes for personal care products to enter our bloodstream.”

    Like I mentioned in a previous post, our skin is the largest organ in our bodies so we need to be very careful about what we put on it. Just take a second to think about all the products you use on a daily basis. Body wash, shampoo & conditioner, lotions, oils, toothpaste, deodorants, cleansers, toners, moisturizers, and if you wear makeup, ALL those additional layers. After reading this blog post, I challenge you to go check the ingredients in your products. And of course like everything else, do your research, you don’t have to take just my word for it. I am simply trying to bring awareness to the topic of toxic ingredients because it can affect our health down the line.
